A Semester Past – A Semester Gone

A semester has gone by since I last blogged (January 2015). A lot of things have changed over the course of 3 months, both personal and spiritual.

Last semester probably wasn't the easiest, but through His grace, I made it through. Although I will probably never have a semester as tough as Autumn 2015 in the future, a year-long project lies ahead. A test of endurance and teamwork indeed!

With my time in UOW coming to a close, the question of "what next?" remains. Further studies or work lie ahead of this life-chapter, but God alone knows where He wants me to go.

Key events that happened:
W S became a Christian. Indeed I'm ecstatic that this young man has decided to put his trust in the Lord Jesus Christ.

People to remember: M Z and A Z. I wished that you, dear sisters in the Lord, were more zealous for the Lord. But then again, I'm reminded that in this age of "the rights of the people", with the watering down of the core doctrines of Christianity, it is hard to be a faithful saint of the Lord Jesus Christ. But I pray, that God will use you mightily regardless of the amount of zeal that you have for Him.

Chinese New Year: Day I

Well today (or rather yesterday) was Chinese New Year: Day One. Probably half of my total relatives were in my house for lunch and it became pretty crowded. We had steamboat; two in fact. One was normal chicken and cabbage soup and the other was tom-yam. As a spiciness love, I went for the tom-yam. (: It was good!

Well tomorrow (or rather today) will be Chinese New Year: Day Two and I'm looking forward to receiving more ang pows tomorrow! Cheers!

New Year's Eve Reunion!

The usual CNY eve reunion every year…Fun, except that I'm not a fan of the food. :P I'm supposed to be thankful right? XD Anyway, tomorrow or rather in 15 minutes time it will be Chinese New Year!

And it means……"drum roll"……ANG POWS! YAY In case you're wondering what are "ang pows", it literally means "red packet". These red packets containing money are given by married couples to single relatives and friends. the more relatives one has the "unluckier" the married couples are and the "luckier" the singles are. :D
